Why do you need Forklift Tests?
Whilst drivers may have the necessary license to drive the proposed vehicle, this does not verify their actual skills, knowledge and legal obligations involved in their day-to-day activities.
Due to ever-changing regulations, companies involved with transportation and logistics have to protect themselves by knowing that the drivers they hire have the working knowledge and understanding of their legal requirements; not just that they can drive and have a license to do so; otherwise they may be putting their license at risk!
They need to be comfortable that this is being done legally and whilst carrying the reputation and legal responsibilities of the company. They need to know that this is being done SAFELY, SECURELY and LEGALLY.
Therefore if you’re hiring for a forklift driver job, then our specific forklift test is exactly what you need to ensure your job applicants have what it takes before you hire them. You can also utilise the assessment to form the basis of your training programme to ensure that all existing employees are fully up to date with changes to regulations and overall safety requirements.
