Why you need Logistics Skills Tests
Drivers are too often recruited without any form of validated assessment. Whilst they have the necessary license to drive the proposed vehicle, this does not verify their actual skills, knowledge and legal obligations involved in their day to day activities.
Due to ever changing regulations, transport companies have to protect themselves by knowing that the drivers they hire have the working knowledge and understanding of their legal requirements; not just that they can drive and have a license to do so; otherwise they may be putting their license at risk! Transport companies also have to be confident that they can trust the driver with their equipment, e.g. a 44 tonne artic carrying a full load (which could exceed £100,000 on the road). They need to be comfortable that this is being done legally and whilst carrying the reputation and legal responsibilities of the company. They need to know that this is being done SAFELY, SECURELY and LEGALLY.
Therefore if you’re hiring then our specific logistics skills tests such as Load Safety Test, Manual Tachograph Test and Driver’s Hours Test are exactly what you need to ensure your job applicants have what it takes before you recruit them, or utilise the assessments as a training programme to ensure all existing employees are fully up to date with changes to regulations and overall safety requirements.

Overview of Logistics Skills Tests
A different approach has been taken to the Transport Suite of assessments. The focus is more towards assessing the driver’s basic day-to-day skills and knowledge in the transport of a variety of goods, that is required by law and the company they are representing and not a measure of the drivers CPC. All our logistic skills testing is designed to test the knowledge of EU regulations, lawful practice and safety regulations and procedures.
