Reading a Ruler

This skills test is designed to assess an individual’s ability to read a ruler; a basic yet essential day-to-day skill for anyone operating in an industrial workplace. Candidates are presented with a variety of question styles including multiple-choice and freehand response. The questions require applicants to measure and take an accurate reading of the length of an on-screen item against a standard ruler. Only the correct answer is awarded a point, meaning that the candidates need to have precise measuring skills in order to score well on this assessment.

Designed to test an individual’s ability to read a ruler. Candidates are presented with a variety of question styles including multiple choice and free hand response.

Candidates are presented with 15 questions to complete in 15 minutes. The candidate’s responses are automatically marked and a point awarded for each correctly answered question. Skipped questions or those that are not taken will result in no point being awarded.
